Basic Outline Rules / How to Play
The basic rules of Punto Banco otherwise detailed on this website apply. Dragon Bonus is an optional side bet placed at the same time as the opening wagers in the basic game.
Players have two ways to win the Dragon Bonus side wager depending on whether the selection hand is a ‘natural’ winner (being a score of eight or nine with the first two cards dealt to that hand) or a ‘non-natural’ winner (being any winning score after a third card has been dealt to that hand).
If the selected hand is a natural winner, the Dragon Bonus side wager will win and be paid normally, odds of 1 to 1 (even money). If the selected hand is a 'non-natural' winner, and wins by four clear points, the Dragon Bonus side wager will be paid at odds depending on the score.
