Basic Outline of how to play

The Structure of Two-Way is five equal wagers with three being mandatory and two being optional. The first mandatory wager “Two-Way” is a pay scale wager on the best of the player hand or the dealer hand. All other wagers are player hand against dealer hand at a 1 to 1 payoff. The first mandatory wager Ante is always in action. The second mandatory wager “Blind”, in common with the two optional wagers “Flop” and “River” are only in action if the dealer has a pair or better. The player has an opportunity to see the two hole-cards and the flop before making the “Flop” wager decision and the opportunity to see both the turn and river cards before making the “River” wager decision. The “Two-Way” pay scale is from 2 to 1 for a Straight up to 100 to 1 for a Royal Flush, but applies to the best player or dealer hand.

• The ranking of cards, from highest to lowest, is given as:

Royal Flush - ten, jack, queen, king, and ace of the same suit;
Straight Flush  - 5 cards of consecutive values of the same suit;
Four of Kind - 4 cards of same value;
Full House -3 Cards of same value + 2 Cards of same value;
Flush - 5 cards of the same suit not being a straight flush;
Straight Flush - 5 cards in consecutive values not being a straight;
Three of a kind - 3 cards of the same value;
Two pairs - 2 Cards of same value + 2 Cards of same value;
Pair - 2 cards of the same value;
High card - Highest value single card.

• The cards have their numeric values. Ace is high, unless used to complete a low straight, or straight flush, of 1,2,3,4,5 in which it has a value of one.

• The Players and the Dealer are each dealt 2 cards, which are all dealt face downwards (including the Dealer’s cards).

• The Player must place three initial wagers of equal amounts before the Initial Deal, hereafter called the “Ante”, the “Blind” and the “Two Way” wagers. (All subsequent optional wagers are placed after the cards are drawn).

• Each player also has the option of placing the Trips Plus side bet, provided they have also placed the initial 3 wagers on the ‘Ante’, ‘Blind’ and ‘Two Way’.

• Wagers will be made before any cards are dealt, and must be placed in the designated betting area(s).

• All “Two Way” wagers will win and be paid the following odds, if the player or Dealers hand contains one of the following rankings:-

• Straight (2 to 1)

• Flush (3 to 1)

• Full House (4 to 1)

• Four of a Kind (25 to 1)

• Straight Flush (40 to 1)

• Royal Flush (100 to 1)

If the Player or dealers hand does not contain at least a straight, their “Two-Way” wager will lose.

• A Player placing a “Trips Plus” wager will win and be paid the following odds, if their hand contains one of the following rankings:-

• Three of a Kind (3 to 1)

• Straight (4 to 1)

• Flush (6 to 1)

• Four of a Kind (50 to 1)

• Straight Flush (80 to 1)

• Royal Flush (200 to 1)

If the Player’s hand does not contain at least Three of a Kind, their “Trips Plus” wager will lose.

• A Player who’s hand is outranked by the Dealer’s hand will lose their Ante (The player will also lose their Blind flop and River Bets if they are in play), but not their Two way or Trips Plus wagers.

• If both the Player and Banker’s hands are of exactly equal ranking, the “Ante”, “Blind”, “Flop” and “River” wagers will be declared void.
