Basic Outline of sidebet rules / how to play
Hi Lo Stud Poker™ is a paytable game, and the object is to get two pair or better. You are guaranteed five cards to make your hand, but you have the opportunity to earn as sixth and even a seventh card to increase your chances of winning.
Getting Started
You make an Ante bet to get in the game. You may also make the optional 4 Card Bonus wager. After wagers have been placed, you will receive your first hole card face-up.
You now have a choice: Check, or try to earn a second hole card. To do this, place a bet equal to your ante in either the circle marked “Hi” or “Lo”. If you bet high, you want the next card to be higher (or equal) in rank to your existing card. If you bet low, you want the next card to be lower (or equal) in rank to your existing card.
If you guess correctly, that bet and that card remain in action. You then have the chance to earn a third hole card by betting that it will be higher or lower than the current card.
Winning & Losing
The dealer then reveals the four community cards and combines them with each player’s up-card(s) to make the best five-card poker hand. You win if your hand is two pair or better. See layout for odds.
The 4 Card Bonus wager is based on the four community cards ONLY, and is paid according to the posted paytable.
