Basic Outline of how to play
INITIAL WAGER
Only one wager may be accepted on each playing position, and no individual player may place a wager on more than one playing position.
The initial wager for each participating player, hereafter referred to as the Ante wager, shall be made before any cards are dealt in the game. The Ante wager shall be placed in the designated betting area marked ‘Ante’.
THE DEAL
After the initial wager has been placed, two cards will be dealt face down to each player and a further three cards placed face down in the ‘community cards’ area. At this stage the player may view their cards and has two possible decisions;
• They may fold their hand and lose their initial wager (ante bet), or;
• Place a further wager of 1, 2 or 3 x their Ante on the “3rd Street” area. The Dealer will then turn over the “3rd Street” community card. At this stage the player has two possible decisions;
• They may fold their hand and lose their initial wager (ante bet) and their “3rd Street” bet, or;
• Place a further wager of 1, 2 or 3 x their Ante on the “4th Street” area. The Dealer will then turn over the “4th Street” community card. At this stage the player again has two possible decisions;
• They may fold their hand and lose their initial wager (ante bet), 3rd and 4th Streets bets, or;
• Place a further wager of 1, 2 or 3 x their Ante on the “5th Street” area. The Dealer will then turn over the “5th Street” community card.
SETTLEMENT
Working from left to right the Dealer will then reveal the players’ initial two cards and combine them with the three community cards.
