Basic Outline of sidebet rules / how to play
Spread-Bets Blackjack is an additional side wager for the standard game of Blackjack that is played with 6 or 8 decks of cards. This side wager gives players the option to place up to 3 additional bets on the sum total of their first two cards being within a pre-defined “spread”.
There are two sets of spread bet ranges and pay tables that are used. One is for when Ace is equal to 1 and the other for when Ace is equal to 11. Only one option should be available. Ace cannot be equal to both 1 and 11 in the same game.

Each player position shall have 3 player betting options. If the player wishes to play Spread-Bets Blackjack, they may choose to place a wager on 1, 2 or all 3 options. The player must also have placed a standard wager on Blackjack to place a Spread-Bets Blackjack wager.
The betting options and odds are as follows;

Optional Game Rule - Royal Blackjack
Operators also have the option to introduce an additional game rule. This rule states that where the player is dealt a winning Blackjack with their first two cards that comprise a picture card and an Ace then any Spread Bets Blackjack wagers will stand. Please note that this rule does not apply where the player has been dealt a blackjack consisting of a 10 and an Ace.
Where the optional game rule is available, this will be indicated on the table layout.
This optional game rule will reduce the overall house edge by 3.55%

If all Spread-Bets Blackjack wagers were placed simultaneously, the overall house edge will be 8.67%
If the optional “Royal Blackjack” game rule applies and if all Spread-Bets Blackjack wagers were place simultaneously, the overall house edge will be 5.12%
