Basic Outline of how to play

Players place two compulsory initial wagers, the “Ante” and the “Super Bonus”. They may also place an optional sidebet, called the “Queens up”. Five cards are dealt to each player and to the dealer, all face down.

The player decides on their best four card hand and, if they wish to remain in the game, they must place a “Play” wager equal to the amount of the “Ante”.

However, if their hand contains a pair of Aces or higher, they may choose to “triple down” and place a Play wager of up to three times the Ante if they so wish.

If they do not wish to stay in the game, they fold and lose all bets to the house.

The Dealer qualifies with a King High or better, but if they do not qualify, the Play wager is paid even money and the Ante wager is returned (“push”).

If the Dealer does qualify, their hand is compared to each player’s hand in turn. If the Player’s hand is better, both the Ante and Play wagers are paid even money. However, if the Dealer’s hand is better, then both wagers are lost to the house.

The Super Bonus wager wins if the player’s hand contains at least a straight, regardless of the Dealer’s hand or whether it qualifies. The best Crazy 4 Poker hand is “Four of a kind”. For this bonus, four Aces pays 200-1 whilst any other four of a kind pays 30-1. The odds descend to even money being paid out for a straight.

If the player has less than a Straight, their Super Bonus wager does not necessarily lose. If the player has a better hand or ties with the Dealer, regardless of whether the Dealer qualifies, the Super Bonus will push. It only loses if the dealer qualifies with a hand that is better than the Player’s.

There is an optional side bet called “Queens Up” that can be placed in addition to the compulsory Ante and Super Bonus wagers. This pays if the Player’s hand contains at least a pair of Queens. If it does not, the wager loses.
