Basic Outline of sidebet rules / how to play

War Blackjack follows the basic rules of standard blackjack ("21"), with the following features:

• Optional War pre game bet based on the player's first card and the dealer's up card.

• High Hand in War wins even money and Player has option to "add" only War winnings on to Blackjack wager. The original bet must go back to the Player.

• In War, Aces play as a value of 1 for dealer and player. King is the highest, then Q, J, 10, 9, 8 , 7, 6 ,5, 4, 3, 2, Ace are the rankings used in War.

• In War, house wins all exact ties.

• All normal splits allowed.

• Regular doubles allowed on two-card hands.

• Dealer hits on soft-17.

• Blackjack pays 3-to-2.

After War the hand continues and resumes as standard Blackjack.

A round of War Blackjack begins with each player placing two (2) separate bets on the table, (1) in the casino War wager circle or logo directly in front of the player (note: this bet is optional) and (2) in the Blackjack wager circle directly in front of player (this bet is mandatory). The player may wager any amount (subject to table limits) on the War hand and any amount on the Blackjack hand, so long as both bets together do not exceed table limits.

Once the above two wagers are placed, the dealer will deal each player one (1) card face up for the Player's War hand which will also be the first card of the player's Blackjack hand.
